maXTouch XPlained Pro Extension Board, Atmel
The maXTouch XPlained Pro Extension Board is designed to work in parallel with any XPlained boards within the evaluation framework to develop user interface applications with MaXTouch and LCD.
maXTouch capacitive touch technology focuses on optimum user experience with key features such as rapid responsiveness, gesture recognition, proximity recognition, noise suppression and endurance. maXTouch can track an unlimited number of touches and suppress those unintended touches whilst detecting the intended ones. It's durability also allows the end user to use applications inside, outside and even with gloves on.
Key applications include GPS systems, smartphones, tablets, e-readers, notebooks, ultrabooks, digital still cameras and portable media players.
Beneficial characteristics of the XPlained Pro platform are the integration of Atmel Studio, the inclusion of Atmel software framework drivers and demo code and support streaming data.
