The SFH2240 from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is a silicon PIN photodiode and has a wavelength of 400 nm to 690 nm. Featuring adapted spectral sensitivity for Human eye Sensitivity and with a low temperature coefficient, the SFH2240 has fast switching time and high linearity.
Suitable for applications in Bio monitoring and ambient light sensing, the SFH2240 can be used in an array of situations such as in mobile phones or for regulation of air conditioning systems.
