STEVAL-ISB041V1 Li-Ion/Li-Po Battery Charger Evaluation Board
The STEVAL-ISB041V1 board is based on an STBC02 battery power management chip, integrating a linear charger for single-cell Li-Ion batteries with protection functions, an LDO regulator, two SPDT load switches and intelligent reset logic. It will charge single-cell Li-Ion/Li-Po batteries with a CC-CV algorithm and charge termination. The STEVAL-ISB041V1 can work in stand-alone mode and the STBC02 controlled via a single-wire interface.

Adjustable floating voltage up to 4.45V
On-chip always-on low quiescent current LDO regulator
On-chip 2 x 3Ω SPDT load switches
Reset generator triggered by USB detection
Automatic power path management
Auto-recharge function
Battery over-charge, over-discharge and overcurrent protection
Charging timeout to terminate the charging process for safety reasons
Shipping mode allows low battery leakage when over-discharged
Very low battery leakage in over-discharge and shutdown mode
Charge/fault status output
Battery voltage pin allows external gauging
SWIRE interface allows the STBC02 functions to be controlled externally
