Power On Electromagnetic Brake – Type FB
The FB series power-on brakes are used to stop or hold inertial load that is coupled to the armature hub assembly. The armature hub is attached to the load shaft. The field assembly is mounted to a bulkhead that is perpendicular to the shaft. These electromagnetic brakes are designed to have a high torque to size ratio and require little to no maintenance after installation.
