Portable Step-Down Auto Transformers CM series
The CM series of autotransformers from Carroll & Meynell are a stepping down solution. These autotransformers are designed for stepping down UK mains voltage to a 0 V to 115 V supply for equipment designed for the US market.
Features and Benefits:
Protection from thermal overload
Ingress protection to IP20 from glass reinforced polyester
The input consists of mains cable with 3-pin 13A plug
One US style 3-pin 15A/127V flush-mounted socket for the output
Robust white enclosure
Warning
These units do NOT provide isolation from the mains. This series does not convert the UK 50Hz frequency to the US mains 60Hz frequency.
