Product Details
Introducing the Facoms range of SLS dead blow hammers. The innovative dead blow design uses head half filled with steel balls. The movement of the balls counteracts any tendency to bounce back after striking and ensures the hammer remains in position when in use. The nylon striking face removes the risk of flying chips when hitting hard metal objects and eliminates damage to fragile and soft compound materials.
By incorporating the SLS (Safety Lock System) attachment solution into the design of this practical ratchet, Facoms focus on providing solutions for working at height eliminates the risks, avoids wasted time and improves productivity, whilst still preserving comfort, quality and performance you would expect from a Facom tool. It's a piece of equipment essential for anyone working at height within a commercial and domestic environment.
Facoms Safety Lock System (SLS) range prioritises working safely at height by introducing the SLS head attachment that prevents any accidental falls. Every year, falling tools cause thousands of accidents that have an impact on health and productivity.
Facoms innovative ring design system for the SLS range of tools was tested and chosen with the aim of guaranteeing indestructible solidity – a security tool must not fail. It has been designed so that the steel cable is embedded in the metal to ensure a powerful bond and even in the extreme situation of breakage, it will be the cable that breaks before the bond. Each individual tool has a traction test performed on it once the ring assembly is completed with an inspection certificate issued upon completion. A unique serial number is also engraved on the tool once the inspection has been completed, allowing Facom to ensure traceability of the tools production and guarantee the safety it promises.
