Light Guides for Front Panels - Square

MENTOR’s square head light guides are a development of their 1282 range. These light guides have a square shaped radiating surface with bevelled edges. A square head gives an unusual lighting effect and offers the user a unique appearance in their designs.
Available in a variety of different lengths from 5 mm to 45 mm, the lights guides are very versatile. Suitable applications include; medical devices, security safety, communications equipment and industrial control.

Features of the light guides for front panels:
Inject face: straight 0°
LL-Material: clear PC UL94
Ambient temperature: -40°C to +85°C

LED Light Pipes, MENTOR - Front Panels

MENTOR light guides are designed to transmit light from a PCB-mounted LED to the desired user interface. This transfer is completed with little or no loss of luminance and no light bleed between adjacent elements.
This vast range of light guides are available in single or multiple light guide options, with a range of head shapes and sizes. These options allow them to provide a solution for all sorts of applications. They also offer simple installation and high ESD protection.
Front panel light guides are ideal for applications where the light guide is not attached to the PCB. They push-fit into a hole in the front panel with the light-inject face close to the LED. Front panel light guides therefore provide a variety of design options.
