S8VK-G Series of standard Single Phase, switch mode power supplies are hard wearing, compact, easy to use and are excellent working in tough environments. The S8VK-G has a compact design, safe, reliable, easy to mount, simply click onto a standard DIN Rail. The S8VK runs in stable conditions for a long time over wide temperature ranges -40°C to 70°C. Excellent resistance to vibration thanks to the DIN Rail mounting clip, two sets of DC output terminals. International safety standards including, marine applications, this power supply is provides it all. The compact S8VK-G power supply provides high-power density in a compact design with reduced costs thanks to minimum wiring requirements.

A DIN Rail is a standard type of rail that is used to mount the power supply into racks. DIN Rails are a support for equipment. DIN Rails are normally made from aluminium but if there is a chance that the power supply suffers any shock or vibration, use a steel DIN Rail.

What is A Switch Mode Power Supply?

Switch mode power supplies are a general purpose power supply include a switching regulator converting AC mains power to a lower voltage DC. A Switch mode power supply is efficient limiting any wasted energy.

What is Single Phase?

A single phase power supply is simply a power supply that provides alternating current electric power within systems where the voltages are different. A single phase system normally has one neutral and power wire and the current passes between the 2 wires.

Safety and Storage.

Do not use an inverter output for the power supply. Mount the power supply using a DIN Rail and mounting clip ensuring vibration and shock resistance. Install the power supply away from contactors and other devices. Keep the power supply away from strong high frequency noise and surge.
Storage temperature range is -40°C to 80°C with no condensation or icing.
