Features and Benefits
Various thread sizes available, including M3 and M4
High-quality threaded design ensures a comfortable screw into the socket
BZP Steel as standard
Head height is equal to shank diameter
Cost effective, more so than stainless steel
What is BZP?
Meaning bright zinc plating, a shiny coating is applied to the steel, this process prevents corrosion and rusting. If the application is situated within a harsh environment, BZP will provide much needed longevity and reliability. Although it may not be as effective as stainless steel, the added benefit would be the price. As stainless steel is completely rust proof, but expensive, BZP Steel offers a great solution and is massively cost effective.
What are socket screws used for?
Although uses may very, as standard, these screws are fasteners for industrial equipment or machines which requires parts to be fixed onto a surface or together. The socket will need to be the same metric thread as the screw itself. As an example, some of the types of uses would be:
Fasteners and fixings
Machine tooling and repair
Security guarding
Electronic applications
Automotive industry
What type of head do these screws have?
As standard, this entire range comes with hexagon cap heads built onto the screws. Meaning a hexagon key will need to be used to fully secure the screws into their corresponding sockets. Please make note of the thread sizes of screws you are using as the sockets will need to have identical metric threads to be fixed.
Standards
Threaded in accordance with Din standard 912 / ISO standard 4762
