RS Pro Stroboscopic Tachometer
A stroboscope for determination of the rotation speed of shafts or motors. The Xenon tube flashrate can be set using a coarse/fine adjust potentiometer to match a rotating object, which appears to freeze its motion. A digital display indicates rpm and flashrate.

A hand held mains powered unit, which combines a stroboscope with a tachometer. It can be used to determine or monitor the rotational speed of motors, fans, pumps, conveyors, etc.
The unit has a powerful Xenon flash unit which illuminates the part in question. The speed can be easily determined by adjusting the stroboscope flash rate, until the rotating part appears to be stationary. The rotational speed is indicated on the digital display
The unit can be either hand held or mounted on a suitable tripod for free standing applications
