RS PRO Drop-in Anchors and Setting Punches
RS PRO deformation controlled anchor system for use in concrete with a compressive strength greater than 20N/mm2
These anchors are suitable for various jobs for non-structural applications in both cracked and non-cracked concrete. The system includes setting punches which means the right setting punch needs to be used in order to ensure correct installation.
Available in a range of lengths and sizes to accommodate a variety of applications, these anchors ensure a secure fixing suitable for medium to heavy-duty loads.
Anchors available in A4 stainless steel or zinc plated and passivated steel.Options include:
Drop In Anchor Zinc Plated and Yellow Passivated - Min 5μm

Typical Applications:
Drop-In anchors are designed for anchoring into concrete. First you drill a hole in the concrete then drop the anchor into the pre-drilled hole in the concrete. Next you use the correct setting tool which expands the anchor within the hole in the concrete. This type of system lets you remove the bolt when required but leaves the anchor in place and hidden in the concrete. They can be used in applications that require a flush mounted anchor and when a bolt needs to be inserted and removed.
