Use this RS PRO 40 mm fan filter to keep your axial fans in tip-top condition. This complete unit comprises a guard, filter and retainer which attaches to the fan via a snap-in fit. The guard and retainer are constructed from high-quality reinforced ABS and is designed to protect the fan from any internal damage.
The fan filter unit (FFU) known as a dust filter is an accessory used in fans and blowers. A typical filter consists of four parts, such as the outer cover or frame, filter pad, mesh screen and finger guard. During application, designed to remove dust or small particles from the airflow of the fan and help with the free movement of air and protect the fan from any internal damage. They also preserve the lifespan and safety of your fans.
The rating of this fan filter conforms to UL94V-0 meaning the foam has passed UL tests against fire safety and is ready to go for specific applications. The great advantages of the RS PRO fan filter are the snap-in retainer which keep everything together, and the ease of cleaning without the need for tools.
Most fan filters have a 30 or 45 PPI rating. A 30 PPI foam relates to a coarse grade, and 45 PPI foam relates to fine grade.
