ADSP-BF592 Blackfin® Processor Evaluation Board
The Analog Devices ADZS-BF592-EZLITE is a cost-effective development tool for evaluation of the ADSP-BF592 digital signal processor via a USB-based, PC-hosted tool set. The evaluation board is designed to be used in conjunction with the CrossCore® Embedded Studio (CCES) and VisualDSP++® development environments. Access to the processor from a host PC is via a USB port or an external JTAG emulator. The USB interface provides unrestricted access to the processor and evaluation board peripherals; JTAG emulators offer faster communication between the host PC and target hardware.
The board includes the following devices and features:

Programmable VDDINT core power
AD5258 TWI digital potentiometer
ADP1715 low dropout linear regulator
Numonyx M25P16 16 Mb SPI external flash memory
SSM2603 Audio codec with stereo 24-bit ADC & DAC
High-efficiency headphone amplifier
Stereo line input and mono microphone input
Expansion interface II
ADM3202 RS-232 line driver/receiver UART
Land grid array for easy probing of all port pins
JTAG ICE 14-pin header
DB9 female connector
LEDs indicators and push-button switches
Charger for 3.7V single-cell Li-Ion battery
